Manuscript Critique
A manuscript critique is a careful read of your manuscript with an eye to big-picture issues such as structure, themes, narrative flow, characterization, and voice.
You’ll receive an editorial letter with my feedback on these aspects of your work and recommendations for revision, as well as a one-hour post-edit consultation via phone or Zoom.

Developmental Edit
A developmental edit is more thorough than a manuscript critique. Your work will receive the same careful read and assessment of big-picture issues (structure, themes, narrative flow, characterization, and voice) but with margin comments within the manuscript and chapter-by-chapter recommendations for revision.
Again, I’ll provide an editorial letter with my feedback and recommendations for revision, as well as a one-hour post-edit consultation via phone or Zoom.

Sample Edit
A sample edit includes feedback similar to that of a full developmental edit, along with a quote and timeline for the full project. This service is free for up to ten standard manuscript pages (2,500 words). Please submit your full manuscript.
